Description
Privacy policy generator and terms and conditions generator for WordPress. Publish your legal pages in one click.
WPLP Legal Pages is a legal page generator for GDPR, CCPA, and other privacy laws. Answer a short questionnaire about what your site does. The plugin writes your privacy policy, terms and conditions, cookie policy, disclaimer, and 30+ other legal pages, then publishes them as normal WordPress pages on your domain.
- ✅ Free: Privacy Policy, Terms of Use, DMCA Notice, and CCPA Privacy Notice
- ✅ One click from questionnaire to a live page
- ✅ Priced by site count, never per document. See plans
- ✅ One login for every client site, with the WPLP web app
3-minute setup walkthrough. Try it first in the Live Preview.
⚡ How it works
- Add your business details once. Business name, address, domain, niche. Every page you generate uses them.
- Answer the questionnaire. Tell it what your site collects: contact forms, analytics, newsletter sign-ups, checkout, affiliate links.
- Publish. The page goes live on your domain. Edit it in Gutenberg, Elementor, or Divi, the same as any other page.
📄 Legal pages you can generate
Who writes them? Every template is written and reviewed by the WPLP in-house legal team and professionals. Templates come in 7 languages: English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch, and Portuguese.

🏢 Built for agencies and multiple client sites
Every client site needs a privacy policy and terms page, and each one collects different data. Copying one client’s policy onto the next site doesn’t hold up.
Manage every client site’s legal pages from one login. WPLP Legal Pages connects to the WPLP web app (app.wplegalpages.com). The web app is included on every plan, Free included.
- Multi-site management: add each client site, apply templates, and see which sites have which pages in one list.
- No WordPress Multisite needed: each client site keeps its own install and its own database.
- Your branding on client sites: remove WPLP branding and add your own logo (paid plans).
- Policy updates across the roster: when a law changes, WPLP drafts the new text. Nothing publishes until you approve it (paid plans).
- One vendor for pages and banner: manage WPLP Cookie Consent from the same login.
Same features on every paid plan
Professional, Business, and Agency have every feature. The price changes only with the number of sites:
- Free: 1 site
- Professional: up to 3 sites
- Business: up to 10 sites
- Agency: 25, 50, or 100 sites
A 3-site freelancer and a 100-site agency get the same templates and tools. See the pricing page.
🔄 How your pages stay current
Laws change. A privacy policy written 2 years ago may not match what the law asks for today.
- Edit at any time. Every page is a normal WordPress page.
- Tell returning visitors. The free policy update banner shows that a page changed, and the date it changed.
- Auto-updates on law change (paid plans). When a relevant law changes, WPLP drafts updated text for your page. A notice in your dashboard tells you it’s ready. Nothing goes live until you review and approve it.

⭐ Why WPLP Legal Pages
- Pages live on your domain. They are standard WordPress pages in your own database.
- Pages stay if you deactivate. Deactivating removes the generator. Your published pages stay live.
- No per-document or pageview fees. The 4 free templates have no usage limit.
- Built for the WordPress editor. Works with Gutenberg, Elementor, and Divi.
- Part of the WPLP Compliance Platform. Legal pages, cookie consent, and the web app come from one team.
⚖️ Privacy laws covered
- GDPR (EU): GDPR Privacy Policy, GDPR Cookie Policy, and Professional Privacy Policy templates
- CCPA and CPRA (California): Standard CCPA (free), Professional CCPA, and CPRA templates
- COPPA (US): COPPA template for sites that collect data from children under 13
- EU Cyber Resilience Act: CVD Policy and EU Declaration of Conformity templates
- Germany, Austria, Switzerland: Impressum template
For cookie consent under LGPD (Brazil) and PIPEDA (Canada), use WPLP Cookie Consent. It covers LGPD on the free plan and PIPEDA on paid plans.
Note: WPLP Legal Pages helps you publish legal pages that match your site. It doesn’t give legal advice. For some situations you still need a lawyer to review your pages. A review costs much less than a lawyer drafting every page from scratch.
👥 Who uses WPLP Legal Pages
- Agencies and freelancers: legal pages on every client build, managed from one login
- Bloggers and creators: privacy policy, disclaimer, and the affiliate disclosures ad and affiliate networks ask for
- WooCommerce stores: refund, returns, privacy, and terms pages that payment processors ask for

- SaaS and membership sites: terms, EULA, and age verification for gated content
🍪 Pair it with WPLP Cookie Consent

FAQ
-
Do I need a privacy policy on my WordPress site?
-
If your site collects personal data, most privacy laws ask you to publish one. That includes contact forms, comments, analytics, newsletter sign-ups, and checkout. GDPR, CCPA, and many other laws ask you to say what you collect, why, and who you share it with. Google AdSense and Amazon Associates also ask for a privacy policy.
-
What is the difference between a privacy policy and terms and conditions?
-
A privacy policy explains how your site collects and uses personal data. Terms and conditions (also called terms of service or terms of use) set the rules for using your site, products, or services. Most sites need both.
-
Why use a plugin instead of an online policy generator?
-
An online generator gives you text to copy into a page. WPLP Legal Pages writes the page inside WordPress and publishes it on your domain in one click. It also adds the footer links and the update banner, and on paid plans it drafts updates when a law changes.
-
If your site uses cookies beyond the strictly necessary ones, GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive ask you to explain them to EU visitors. A GDPR Cookie Policy template is on paid plans. For the cookie banner itself, use WPLP Cookie Consent.
-
Do I need an Impressum?
-
Sites run from Germany, Austria, or Switzerland usually need one. It names who runs the site and how to contact them. The Impressum template is on paid plans.
-
What legal pages can I generate with the free version?
-
Privacy Policy, Terms of Use, DMCA Notice, and a CCPA privacy notice.
-
What do WPLP paid plans add?
-
30+ more templates, legal page popups, forced agreement, age verification, auto-updates on law change, and branding removal. They also add more sites to the WPLP web app. See the full list in the Description.
-
What is the difference between the paid plans?
-
Only the number of sites. Professional, Business, and Agency all have every feature. Professional covers up to 3 sites, Business up to 10, and Agency 25, 50, or 100. See the pricing page.
-
Can I manage legal pages for many client sites from one place?
-
Yes. Connect each site to the WPLP web app. It is on every plan, and multi-site management covers up to your plan’s site limit: Free 1, Professional 3, Business 10, Agency 25, 50, or 100.
-
Do I need WordPress Multisite?
-
No. The WPLP web app manages separate WordPress installs from one login. If you do run a WordPress Multisite network, the plugin works there too.
-
How much does it cost for 25 or more client sites?
-
The Agency plan covers 25, 50, or 100 sites, with every feature included. It costs $28 a month, or $168 a year, for 25 sites. See the pricing page for 50 and 100 sites.
-
Can I use the free plugin on more than one site?
-
Yes. Install the free plugin on as many sites as you like. The free WPLP web app plan manages 1 site from one login. To manage more sites from one place, pick a paid plan by site count.
-
Can I remove WPLP branding on client sites?
-
Yes, on paid plans. You can also add your own logo.
-
In the WPLP Legal Pages settings, turn on “Add Legal Pages Link to the Footer”. The plugin adds links to your legal pages in the site footer. You can also insert any page with its shortcode or the WPLP block in Gutenberg.
-
How do I update my pages when a law changes?
-
Edit any page in the WordPress editor, then turn on the policy update banner so returning visitors see the change. On paid plans, auto-updates on law change draft the new text for you to review and approve.
-
Does WPLP Legal Pages help with GDPR and CCPA?
-
Yes. It has GDPR and CCPA templates and keeps your pages current with update notices and, on paid plans, auto-updates on law change. It doesn’t make a site compliant by itself. Pair it with a cookie banner such as WPLP Cookie Consent.
-
Do I still need a lawyer?
-
Maybe, for a review. WPLP Legal Pages doesn’t give legal advice. A lawyer’s review of pages you generated costs much less than having a lawyer draft them from scratch.
-
Does WPLP Legal Pages support Amazon affiliate or earnings disclaimers?
-
Yes. Amazon Affiliate Disclosure and Earnings Disclaimer templates are on paid plans. The free plugin has a basic affiliate disclosure notice you add with one toggle.
-
Will this get my AdSense application approved?
-
AdSense asks for a privacy policy, and this plugin generates one. Google reviews many other things too, so no plugin can promise approval.
-
Will a templated privacy policy hurt my SEO?
-
No. Search engines treat privacy policies and terms pages as standard legal text. Duplicate content matters on your product and article pages, not on legal notices. You can also choose whether search engines index your legal pages.
-
Is WPLP Legal Pages compatible with my theme?
-
It works with any theme that follows WordPress standards. It is tested with Gutenberg, Elementor, and Divi.
-
What happens to my pages if I deactivate the plugin?
-
They stay live. They are standard WordPress pages in your database. Deactivating removes only the generator and its settings screens.
-
Will this slow my site down?
-
The generator runs only in your WordPress admin. On the front end, the plugin loads only the features you turn on, such as footer links, the update banner, or the age verification popup.
-
What happens if I delete the plugin?
-
Your published legal pages stay live, because they are standard WordPress pages. The plugin’s settings are removed.
-
Can I translate my legal pages?
-
Yes. Templates come in English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch, and Portuguese. Generated pages also work with WPML and similar translation plugins.
-
Can I edit the generated text?
-
Yes. Edit any page in the WordPress editor, the same as any other page.
