Description
QR Code Companion for EventON is an independent companion plugin by REJEN LTD.
It keeps other-ticket check-ins on the current QR check-in page instead of
navigating away each time a ticket is checked in or unchecked.
Features:
- Check in or uncheck other tickets in the same order and event without reloading.
- Check in all remaining eligible other tickets with one button.
- Update each ticket only after the server confirms its saved status.
- Show a retry option when a request fails.
- Keep ticket information collapsed behind a Show/Hide Ticket Info link.
- Display checked tickets with a light grey background.
The main scanned ticket remains handled by EventON. Bulk check-in covers only
the other tickets displayed on that page. Refunded links are not changed.
Only logged-in users who pass EventON QR Code’s check-in permission check can
use the AJAX endpoint. Tickets must belong to the same order and event, and the
WooCommerce order must be completed.
Requirements:
This plugin requires WooCommerce, EventON, EventON Event Tickets and EventON QR
Code to be installed, activated and configured separately. EventON and its
commercial add-ons are not included. See https://www.myeventon.com/ for EventON
and its add-ons and https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce/ for WooCommerce.
The supplied installation versions are WordPress 7.1.2, EventON 5.1, Event
Tickets 2.4.19 and QR Code 2.1. Compatibility with other versions has not been
confirmed. Test this release with a test order before using it at an event.
This is an independent plugin and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the
EventON developers. EventON and related product names belong to their owners.

Installation
- Install and configure WooCommerce, EventON, Event Tickets and QR Code.
- Upload this ZIP using Plugins > Add New Plugin > Upload Plugin and activate it.
- Reload the configured EventON QR Code check-in page while signed in as an authorised check-in user.
- Use a completed test order with multiple tickets to verify check-in, uncheck and bulk check-in.
There is no separate settings screen.

Does this replace EventON QR Code?

No. It adds behaviour to the existing QR Code check-in page. The required
plugins must remain active. -
Does Check-in all include the main scanned ticket?

No. The main ticket is handled by EventON. The button covers remaining eligible
other tickets on the current page. -
Can I undo a check-in?

Click a checked other-ticket button to request an uncheck. The same server-side
permission and completed-order checks apply. -
What happens if I deactivate this plugin?

EventON’s normal page behaviour returns. No EventON files or database schema
are modified. Previously saved ticket statuses remain recorded. -
Does it send ticket information to an external service?

No. Its AJAX requests go to the same WordPress installation.
