After waiting years for this feature to be added to Advanced Custom Fields, we developed our own solution. Ironically, shortly after we completed our plugin development, ACF released this exact feature in version 6.6! However, we discovered that many users still needed a way to completely remove edit icons for a cleaner interface, so we pivoted Better Field Groups for ACF to focus on this specific need that ACF doesn’t address. ### Does Better Field Groups for ACF work with both ACF Free and ACF Pro? Yes! Better Field Groups for ACF works seamlessly with both the Free version and Pro version of Advanced Custom Fields. The plugin detects whichever version you have installed and applies the interface improvements automatically. ### Does Better Field Groups for ACF work with Secure Custom Fields (SCF)? Absolutely!
