What follows is step-by-step instructions: #### Installation instructions 1. **Make sure that you have at least WordPress version 3.9 installed, and that you are running on at least PHP 5.3.** 2. **Log in to your WordPress site** as Administrator. Your account will need to have the necessary permissions to install plugins. 3. **Navigate to the Plugins page**, found on the menu on the left. 4. **Click on the _Add Plugin_ button.** If you cannot find the _Add Plugin_ button, you might have a _Multisite_ (aka _Network_) WordPress installation. If that is the case, navigate to _My Sites_ → _Network Admin_ → _Plugins_. The _My Sites_ menu is located at the top left of the screen. 5. Once on the _Add Plugins_ page, **click on the _Upload Plugin_ button**. 6. **Click _Browse_.** 7. **Locate the following file** on your computer: SVG_Logo_and_Text_Effects-1.3.1. zip 8. **Click _Install Now_.** You should get the message _Plugin installed successfully._ 9. **Click on _Activate_,** (or _Network Activate_ if you have a multisite installation). You should now be ready to use _SVG Logo and Text Effects_. #### Configure settings (optional) To visit the plugin’s settings page, navigate to _Settings_ → _SVG Logo and Text Effects_. ## FAQ Will it work in all browsers? Most modern browsers have support for SVG. For the ones that don’t an HTML fallback of your text is displayed. SVG compatibility is determined on the client-side via JavaScript. If JavaScript is disabled and SVG is unavailable, an HTML fallback is displayed. Will it slow down my pages? No, SVG code is cached server-side after it is computed, so you should not see any noticeable performance hit. Will I be able to figure out how to use it?
