Common examples of this are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.varnish-cache.org\/\">Varnish<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nginx.com\/\">Nginx<\/a>. These systems allow a website to update content and have the visitor's experience cached without the need for complex plugins storing the files locally and using up a user's disk space.<\/p>\n\n<p>The Remote Cache Purger plugin sends a request to delete (aka flush) the cached data of a page or post to remote server(s).<\/p>\n\n<h4>How It Works<\/h4>\n\n<p>Manually<\/p>\n\n<!--section=installation-->\n<p>No special instructions apply.<\/p>\n\n<h4>Requirements<\/h4>\n\n<ul>\n<li>A server based proxy cache service (only Nginx for now) which responds to PURGE request.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<!--section=faq-->\n<p><strong>Please report all issues in the <a href=\"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/plugin\/remote-cache-purger\">support forums<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<dl>\n<dt><h3>Can I delete the entire cache?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>Yes and you can do it in multiple ways.<\/p>\n\n<ol>\n<li>Click the Purge ALL Remote Cache in Top Bar<\/li>\n<li>On Remote Caching Settings page, Console tab.
