Getting Started\nCreate Your First Article\nNavigate to the HelpWidget Admin Page.<\/p>\n\n
Click on \"Add New Post\".<\/p>\n\n
Choose whether you want a WordPress Gutenberg post or an Elementor post.<\/p>\n\n
Be creative! Add images, buttons, videos, and other elements as needed.\nThe title of your post will appear in the HelpWidget and will act as a button to reveal the article's content.\nClick Publish, and the article will be displayed on every page of your site.<\/p>\n\n
Advanced Features\nPath Tags\nTo maximize the plugin's potential, you can assign a path tag to an article to control which pages it appears on.<\/p>\n\n
Navigate to the page where you want the article to display.<\/p>\n\n
Look at the URL and copy the part after the first slash.<\/p>\n\n
Example:\nURL: example.com\/shop\nPath: \/shop\nReturn to the HelpWidget Admin Page and edit your article.<\/p>\n\n
On the right-hand side, find the Tags section and add the following:<\/p>\n\n
path:\/shop\nDisplaying on Multiple Pages\nTo display an article on multiple pages, use the following format:<\/p>\n\n
Examples:<\/p>\n\n
URL: example.com\/index \u2192 Tag: path:\/index\nURL: example.com\/shop \u2192 Tag: path:\/shop\nAdd separate tags for each page as needed.<\/p>\n\n
Query Tags\nQuery tags work similarly to path tags but target the part of the URL after the \"?\" character.<\/p>\n\n
Example:<\/p>\n\n
URL: example.com\/shop?loggedIn=true\nTag: query:loggedIn=true\nThis ensures the article is only displayed if the URL contains loggedIn=true.<\/p>\n\n
Rules for Query Tags:<\/p>\n\n
If you define multiple query tags, only one needs to match.\nIf you include multiple conditions in a single query tag (connected by &), all conditions must be met.\nThe order of conditions does not matter.\nExamples:<\/p>\n\n
Single Query Match:<\/p>\n\n
Tag 1: query:loggedIn=true\nTag 2: query:user=admin\nURLs like example.com\/shop?loggedIn=true or example.com\/shop?user=admin will match.\nMultiple Conditions:<\/p>\n\n
Tag: query:loggedIn=true&user=admin\nOnly URLs like example.com\/shop?loggedIn=true&user=admin will match.\nNote: URLs such as example.com\/shop?loggedIn=true or example.com\/shop?user=admin will not match, as they do not meet both conditions.<\/p>\n\n

There are 2 types of filters path and query.\nA path filter is the part after the \/ in the url.<\/p>\n\n
For example google.com\/test. Then \"test\" would be the path.<\/p>\n\n
A query filter is the part after the ? in the url.\nFor example google.com\/test?user=admin \nThen \"user=admin\" would be the query.<\/p>\n\n
