Need to make sure that a site is private for all but the administrators? Just activate this plugin.<\/p>\n\n

There are no settings, no configuration - it just forces anyone that isn't an admin to go to the login page. They won't see anything of the site at all. Great for hiding sites really quickly.<\/p>\n\n\n

It's recommended that you install this plugin by searching for it in your WordPress Dashboard.<\/p>\n\n

  1. Go to Plugins > Add New<\/li>\n
  2. Search for \"Simple Site Lockdown\"<\/li>\n
  3. The first result should be this plugin, check the author is 'philipjohn' to double check<\/li>\n
  4. Click Install Now<\/li>\n
  5. Click Activate Plugin<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n

    Installing any other way carries the risk that it's from a source which could have injected malicious software into the plugin.<\/p>\n\n\n

    Can I allow non-admins to view my site with this plugin?<\/dt>\n

    No, this is only for admins. If you want to allow non-admins in, I'd recommend using the more feature-rich Maintenance Mode<\/a> plugin instead.<\/p><\/dd>\n\n<\/dl>\n\n\n
