Display a rotating daily proverb from the Book of Proverbs known as Solomon's wisdom. Use the shortcode [solomon_daily_wisdom]<\/code> on a page or post of your WordPress site.
\nThe plugin updates the proverb automatically each day based on the calendar. \nYou can also activate the option to show Solomon Proverb on top of your site via top bar. This can be done via checkbox from plugin Settings. \nIn this version there are no unique 365 proverbs so some will be repeated but not one after another.<\/p>\n\n\n

  1. Upload the plugin folder to the \/wp-content\/plugins\/<\/code> directory.<\/li>\n
  2. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress.<\/li>\n
  3. Use the shortcode [solomon_daily_wisdom]<\/code> in posts or pages.<\/li>\n
  4. If you want to show it only in top bar just check the checkbox in plugin Settings.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n

    Can I add my own proverbs?<\/h3><\/dt>\n

    In the free version, proverbs are hardcoded. However if you know what to do you can add\/edit\/remove proverbs in 'proverbs.php' file from 'includes' folder.<\/p><\/dd>\n

    Can I show the proverb at the top of every page?<\/h3><\/dt>\n

    Yes! Just enable \"Show top bar on all pages\" in the settings.<\/p><\/dd>\n

    Can I show the proverb on home page only?<\/h3><\/dt>\n

    No! At this moment no. If we will get many requests for this we will add this to next plugin version.<\/p><\/dd>\n

    Can I customize the design?<\/h3><\/dt>\n

    We dont proivde this as an option via settings however you can override the CSS to adjust fonts, colors, and placement if you know how to do it.<\/p><\/dd>\n
