This is a very simple plugin that will convert the taxonomy\/category description textarea to a WYSIWYG (TinyMCE) form.\nOnce active, it will convert the textarea field in the create new and edit page of a taxonomy\/category to a WYSIWYG or standard WP content form.<\/p>\n\n\n

How to install the plugin and get it working.<\/p>\n\n

  1. Upload simple-taxonomy-wysiwyg\/<\/code> directory to the \/wp-content\/plugins\/<\/code> directory<\/li>\n
  2. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress<\/li>\n
  3. Go to Posts > Categories.<\/li>\n
  4. Check the New Category description field to confirm if the installation is a success.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n

    This is an activate and use plugin.<\/p>\n\n

    • Activate the plugin.<\/li>\n
    • All taxonomy textarea are now WYSIWYG<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/dd>\n
      Things to take note about this plugin<\/dt>\n

      After creating the taxonomy\/category, the Description in the list will not be formatted, but after refreshing the page or going in the category details, you can see that the format upon creation is retained.<\/p><\/dd>\n\n<\/dl>\n\n\n
