Import Tweets as WP Posts<\/strong> is a simple plugin that allow you to search Tweets from the admin panel (with keywords, username or hashtag) and add them to your posts (you can choose a post type, a category).<\/p>\n\n

It's a simple way :\n\u2022 to feed your WordPress website with real content in minutes<\/strong>\n\u2022 to display curated content from Twitter<\/strong> on your website\n\u2022 to make a live tweet event website<\/strong> with moderated content<\/p>\n\n

How does it work ?\n1. Type a request : keywords, username, hashtag\n2. Fill some parameters : taxonomy to feed, post type to feed, number of results to show\n3. Some template tags (%a%, %d%, etc.) are available to customize the content you add to your WordPress website\n4. Choose some tweets and add them to your website or reject them<\/p>\n\n

Comment \u00e7a marche ?\n1. Tapez une requ\u00eate : mots-cl\u00e9, hashtag, nom d'utilisateur\n2. R\u00e9glez quelques param\u00e8tres : taxonomie \u00e0 remplir, post type \u00e0 remplir, nombre de tweets \u00e0 afficher, etc...\n3. Il est possible de customiser votre contenu ajout\u00e9 avec un petit syst\u00e8me de template (%a%, %d%, etc.)\n4. Une fois votre recherche effectu\u00e9e, choisissez des tweets, ajoutez-les \u00e0 votre site ou rejetez ceux qui ne vous plaisent pas.<\/p>\n\n

  1. Upload \/tweets-to-posts\/<\/code> folder to the \/wp-content\/plugins\/<\/code> directory<\/li>\n
  2. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress<\/li>\n
  3. Set up your Twitter API key in the Settings page<\/li>\n
  4. Search for Twitter content and add it as Wordpress posts from the 'Twitter to Posts' menu<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n

    How can I get a Twitter API key?<\/dt>\n

    To use this plugin, you'll need to create a Twitter API key. Dealing with Twitter Developers Console can be a bit confusing. Here's how to do that:\n1. Login to https:\/\/apps.twitter.com\/ using your Twitter account\n2. Click on 'Create new app'\n3. Set up your Twitter app\n4. On your new app dashboard, click on Keys and access tokens : there you can find your Consumer Key and your Consumer Secret\n5. On the bottom of this page, click on Create My access token and token secret\n6. Now that you have your Consumer Key, your Consumer Secret, your Access Token and your Access Token Secret copy them into the Import Tweets as WP Posts Settings page\n7. It's done, congrats :)<\/p><\/dd>\n\n<\/dl>\n\n\n
