The Geocoder field is easily be configured to capture geocoder \ninput values from other form fields.<\/p>\n\n<p>It comes with the <a href=\"http:\/\/wiki.openstreetmap.org\/wiki\/Nominatim\">OSM Nominatim<\/a> \ngeocoder enabled by default and supports <a href=\"https:\/\/geocod.io\/\">Geocod.io<\/a> \nand the <a href=\"https:\/\/developers.google.com\/maps\/\">Google Maps API<\/a> once you've entered \nAPI keys for those services.<\/p>\n\n<p>The geocoder field can be displayed as a map, as latitude and longitude\nfields, as the raw GeoJSON data, or hidden.<\/p>\n\n<p>This plugin supports WP-GeoMeta, so if you create posts or users with geocoded\ndata, their location will be stored as spatial metadata.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>NOTICE<\/strong>: <em>This plugin uses 3rd party services to provide geocoding results.\nThe default geocoder, OSM Nominatim, requests that you include your email address \nin API calls if you are making a large number of requests. We send the WP admin \nemail address by default. You can change what is sent on the Gravity Forms settings \npage, under <\/em><em>Geocoder<\/em>..<\/p>\n\n<h4>What is Geocoding?<\/h4>\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Geocoding\">Geocoding<\/a> is the process of turning \ntext (an address) into coordinates (latitude and longitude). With coordinates \nyou can display data on a map and do location based searching.<\/p>\n\n<h4>Support for Other Geocoders<\/h4>\n\n<p>Brilliant Geocoders for Gravity Forms includes hooks so that you can add\nsupport for other geocoding services.<\/p>\n\n<p>OSM Nominatim support is built into the plugin, but Geocod.io and Google Maps\nAPI support is written the same way that you would add support for another\nservice. The Geocod.io example in particular has extensive comments.<\/p>\n\n<p>Please see geocoders\/geocodio.php and geocoders\/geocodio.js for details.<\/p>\n\n<!--section=installation-->\n<p>Be sure that Gravity Forms 2.0.0 or higher is installed.<\/p>\n\n<p>With Gravity Forms installed, you can install this plugin in the usual WordPress way.<\/p>\n\n<ol>\n<li>Unzip and upload the plugin files to the <code>\/wp-content\/plugins\/brilliant-geocoder-gravityforms<\/code> directory,\nor upload the plugin's .zip file through the WordPress plugin screen directly.<\/li>\n<li>Activate the plugin on the 'Plugins' screen in WordPress.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<h4>Creating your first Geocoding field<\/h4>\n\n<ol>\n<li>(Optional) Visit the Gravity Forms settings page enter a Geocod.io or\nGoogle Maps API key, or to change which email is sent with OSM Nominatim API calls.<\/li>\n<li>Create a new Gravity Form (or edit an existing one).<\/li>\n<li>(Optional) Visit the form settings page and select which geocoder to use.\nIt will use OSM Nominatim by default.<\/li>\n<li>Add the input fields you want the user to fill out.<\/li>\n<li>Add the Geocoder field (under the Advanced Fields tab).<\/li>\n<li>In the Geocoder field associate the geocoder parameters with the other input\nfields on your form. <\/li>\n<li>Publish your form and add it to a page like you would any other Gravity\nForm!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<p>and add the Geocoder field from the Advanced Fields\nmenu. Add other input fields, then in the Geocoder settings select which\nfields will be used as parameters for the geocoding.<\/p>\n\n<!--section=faq-->\n<dl>\n<dt>Where are the Terms of Service for the Geocoding Services?<\/dt>\n<dd><ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/developers.google.com\/maps\/terms\">Google Maps API Terms of Service<\/a>\n\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/geocod.io\/terms-of-use\/\">Geocod.io Terms of Use<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/developers.google.com\/maps\/terms\">OSM Nominatim Usage Policy<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul><\/li>\n<\/ul><\/dd>\n<dt>What data is sent to the geocoding service when I geocode?<\/dt>\n<dd><p>Whatever fields you select as a geocoding source in Gravity Forms will be sent\nto the geocoding service. This would typically means that address details\nentered into the form will be sent to the geocoding service for processing.<\/p>\n\n<p>Your API key and\/or any other parameters required by the service's terms of service\nwill also be sent.<\/p>\n\n<p>Please review the Terms of Service of the service you select for details on\nhow your submitted data is stored or used.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt>How can I run spatial queries?<\/dt>\n<dd><p>If you create users or posts, and set a meta value to the value of a  Brilliant \nGeocoder field, that value will be stored as spatial metadata.<\/p>\n\n<p>Brilliant Geocoder for Gravity Forms uses WP-GeoMeta internally.
