Relevanssi now has this functionality built in. Please upgrade your Relevanssi and remove this one.<\/p>\n\n

Relevanssi has the ability to build the index in a step wise fashion (by default 500 posts at a time). However if you have a larger number of posts you can be stuck clicking the \"Continue Indexing\" button over and over again.<\/p>\n\n

Step Index adds a small peice of JavaScript that will do this process automatically for you if you check the \"Step Index\" checkbox before clicking \"Continue Indexing\".<\/p>\n\n\n

This section describes how to install the plugin and get it working.<\/p>\n\n

  1. Install the Relevanssi plugin<\/li>\n
  2. Upload entire step-index-for-relevanssi<\/code> folder to the \/wp-content\/plugins\/<\/code> directory<\/li>\n
  3. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress<\/li>\n
  4. Go to Settings -> Relevanssi<\/li>\n
  5. Check \"Step Index\" checkbox<\/li>\n
  6. Click \"Continue Indexing\"<\/li>\n
  7. Wait for completion<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n
