Qaiyo Text Marquee Slider is an easy-to-use WordPress plugin that lets you create beautiful, infinite scrolling text rows — similar to the ticker strips seen on modern SaaS websites.

Installation
- Upload the
qaiyo-text-marquee-sliderfolder to the/wp-content/plugins/directory. - Activate the plugin through the WordPress admin.
- Go to the “Marquee Slider” menu and create a new slider.
- Paste the shortcode into any page:

- Security: font detection now runs only for logged-in editors; removed the unauthenticated (nopriv) AJAX endpoint and added a capability check, so no browser data is collected from anonymous visitors.
- Privacy: added a WordPress privacy policy suggestion documenting the external Qaiyo catalog request and the stored font-detection data.
- Compatibility: scoped the admin date/time input CSS to the plugin UI so it no longer affects theme
<input>elements. - Accessibility: the collapsible row header is now a keyboard-operable disclosure button (role, aria-expanded, aria-controls); added polite screen-reader announcements for adding/removing items and copying the shortcode.
- Performance: shortcode rendering and display-rule checks now read all post meta in a single query instead of many.
- Housekeeping: deactivation no longer deletes detected-font data (survives reactivation); added a stored version option for future upgrades; added SECURITY.md and a Security Contact header; canonical GPLv2 license string; minor type-safety cleanups.
